FALL 2015: THE 70s ARE BACK (part 2)

Hi girls, This is the second part of my post on the fabulous 70s.	Ciao ragazze, Questa è la seconda parte del mio post sui favolosi anni ’70.
We said that tv stars, on screen and sometimes even in the real word, can afford to be bold with their style choices.	Abbiamo appena detto che le star della tv, dentro e fuori dallo schermo, possono permettersi di fare scelte di stile audaci.
What about the people on the street, instead? The people interested in fashion of course, we are not talking about people buying something because they’ve seen it in a shop windows but people how actually care about tendencies and made fashion, not just buy it.	Ma la gente per strada invece cosa fà? La gente appassionata di moda ovviamente, non stiamo parlando delle persone che comprano dei capi perché li hanno visti nella vetrina di un negozio ma delle persone che si interessano delle tendenze e la moda la fanno, non la comprano.
And above all (it’s a fashion blog after all), how the fashion week addicted interpreted this fall tendencies? What did they took, if they did, from the 70s.	Ma soprattutto (è un blog di moda dopo tutto), come sono interpretate le tendenze di questo autunno dalle fashion week addicted? Cosa hanno preso, sempre che lo hanno fatto, dal look degli anni ’70?
Since I’m really interested in “how to make fashion happen” in real life, I’m going to show you a few examples of what you could have seen in the street of the Milan during fashion week (but I’m thinking about compare and see if abroad it’s a different story).	Dal momento che mi interessa “come la moda si realizza” nella vita di tutti i giorni, vi voglio riportare alcuni esempi  di cosa avreste potuto vedere per le strade di Milano durante il fashion week (ma sto pensando di fare un confronto per vedere se all’estero è successo qualcosa di diverso).
I think sometimes the runways are too much for the everyday life outfits’ choices, but I like to look at the way the fashion girls read the runways’ suggestions and translate them in real life outfits. When they are impeccable and when too much is just too much.	Credo che certe volte le passerelle ci propongano scelte troppo esagerate per la vita di tutti i giorni ma mi piace osservare come le ragazze alla moda interpretano i suggerimenti della passerella e li traducano in abbinamenti per tutti i giorni. Quando sono impeccabili e quando il troppo stroppia.
This is my first choice. I see floral pattern, round glasses, striped cardigan, statement necklace and the adidas snickers. There are all hints from the 70s but I’m not sure they fits together. I don’t like that necklace with those shoes but it’s just me.	Questa è la mia prima scelta. Vedo fantasie a fiori, occhiali rotondi, un maglioncino a righe, una collana d’effetto e le scarpe da ginnastica della Adidas. Sono tutti omaggi allo stile degli anni ’70 ma non sono sicura che stiano bene insieme. Non mi piace l’abbinamento della collana con quelle scarpe ma è solo la mia opinione.
She is my favorite. Plain neutral color and a touch of blue (plus leather garments). She wears male cut pants, ethnic earrings and – the thing I love the most – a maxi-size knee long coat. One of the must-have I suggested you in my last post.   She is one of the few fashion girls who could actually walk around Milan making people look at her thinking she is elegant even in her everyday outfit.	Lei è la mia preferita. Tinte unite e colori naturali con un tocco di blu (il tutto completato da accessori in pelle). Indossa pantaloni dal taglio maschile, orecchini etnici e – la cosa che mi piace di più – un cappotto maxi lungo fino alla caviglia. Uno dei must-have della stagione che vi avevo suggerito nel post precedente.  È una delle poche ragazze alla moda che potrebbero effettivamente camminare per il centro di Milano e farebbe pensare a chi la guarda che è elegante persino nel suo abbigliamento quotidiano.
Plain colors, high waist pants, statement earrings and big sunglasses. She is very cool and her outfit would be perfect either for an happy hour with her friends or for the office just by adding a more basic bag.	Capi tinta unita, pantaloni a vita alta, orecchini d’effetto ed occhiali grandi. Si presenta molto bene ed il suo abbigliamento sarebbe perfetto sia per un aperitivo con le amiche sia per l’ufficio semplicemente abbinando una borsa classica.
Black and white patterns, male blouse, round colored glasses and yellow shoes. She is definitely a 70s sucker and she knows how to make it right for our century. She is a bit too much dresses up for the morning but definitely perfect for the evening.	Fantasia bianca e nera, camicia maschile, variopinti occhiali tondi e scarpe gialle. È decisamente una fan degli anni ’70 e sa come renderli attuali. La sua scelta è eccessiva per la mattina ma decisamente perfetta per la il pomeriggio.
Wedge heels, spherical earrings and plain color clothes are her 70s choices. I love her bag but I think she picked too many different colors from the rainbow:  yellow shoes, red skirt, white shirt and blue earrings. May be she has exaggerated a bit, still I like it.	Zeppe, orecchini sferici e capi tinta unita sono le sue scelte dallo stile anni ’70. Mi piace la sua borsa ma penso che abbia mischiato troppi colori: scarpe gialle, gonna rossa, maglietta bianca, orecchini blu. Forse ha osato un pochino troppo, mi piace comunque l’effetto generale.
So simple, so every day, so strong and sweet at the same time. She comes straight from the 70s. This outfit is perfect for the a morning walk or a for a tea with friends an it’s also a the better modern way to reinterpreted the 70s with its apricot blouse and purple hat. Definitely something I’d wear too.	Così semplice, così quotidiano, così forte e dolce allo stesso tempo. Questo abbigliamento è perfetto per una passeggiata mattutina e per un the con le amiche ed è la migliore versione moderna dello stile degli anni ’70 grazie alla sua camicetta albicocca ed il cappello porpora. Decisamente qualcosa che indosserei anche io.

FALL 2015: THE 70s ARE BACK (part 1)

Hi girls, we've already told you about the colors for this fall and the must-have you need to collect, now let's talk about the style your clothing should be if you really are a fashion addicted.	Ciao ragazze, abbiamo già parlato dei colori per questo autunno e dei must-have che dovete assolutamente avere, adesso parliamo un pò dello stile che dovrebbero avere i vostri indumenti se siete delle vere fashion addict.
Television is a huge window for fashion tendencies and it never misses to tell us what’s on “vogue”. This is mostly because, on the screen, actors  are dressed by professionals and don’t have to actually go around dressed like that, so they have the luxury to explore the most bizarre outfits. A similar phenomenon happens during the fashion weeks. People (girl mostly) try extreme combination in order to look fashionable. Sometimes they are stunning, sometimes they simply exaggerate. This year tendency is a look back at the 70s with a hint of 90s, a slightly modern touch that gives character to the dreamy style of this never forgotten decade.	La televisione è una grande vetrina per le tendenze della moda e non manca mai di indicarci cosa è “on vogue”. Questo avviene soprattutto perché, sullo schermo, gli attori sono vestiti da professionisti  e non devono veramente andare in giro in quel modo, quindi possono permettersi il lusso si esplorare gli accostamenti più bizzarri. Un fenomeno simile avviene durante i fashion weeks.  La gente (le donne in modo particolare) provano combinazioni estreme per apparire alla moda. Qualche volta il risultato è da lasciare senza fiato, altre volte semplicemente esagerano. La tendenza di quest’anno è di guardare indietro agli anni ’70 con un accenno agli anni ’90, un tocco vagamente moderno che dà carattere allo stile sognante di questa decade mai dimenticata.

	La foto qui accanto reaffigura Evelyn Powell , un personaggio della serie “Devious Maids”   in  un episodio andato in onda questa estate negli USA. Avreste tranquillamente potuto pensare che si trattasse di un episodio di “Charlie’s Angels”.
When we think about the 70s’ glamour we think about that tv-show. Both the smart and the everyday outfits of the three girls are extraordinary examples of style.  When it comes to the 70s, this girls are iconic.	Quando pensiamo al glamour degli anni ’70, pensiamo a quel telefilm in particolare. Sia l’abbigliamento elegante, sia quello di tutti i giorni delle tre protagoniste sono esempi straordinari di stile. Quando si tratta di anni ’70, queste ragazze sono delle vere  e proprie icone.
It’s been some time now the stylists had tried to make us fall in love again with a few 70s-ish items, like did Chloé just a few years ago.	È da qualche tempo che gli stilisti tentano di farci innamorare nuovamente di alcuni capi che richiamano gli anni ’70, come ha tentato di fare anche Chloé qualche anno fa.
Nevertheless, we had a very hard time letting go of our low waist jeans and accept the revisited 70s with its smart clothes and male cuts together paired with sweet floral pattern  and cute dresses.	Comunque sia, abbiamo avuto serie difficoltà ad abbandonare I nostri  jeans a vita alta e ad accettare lo stile anni ’70 rivisitato con i suoi capi seriosi dal taglio maschile abbinati a  fantasie floreali e vestiti graziosi.
What do we like so much of the 70s? They are not as chic as the ’20 or cheerful as the ’60 or even classical as the ’40. I think it is the right mix of male and female that makes this style unique.  We can match a floral blouse with a male cut pants and still manage to look strong and sweet at the same time. Me, I love the “diva” sunglasses, the leather and the long ethnic necklaces.	Cosa ci piace così tanto degli anni ’70? Non sono chic come gli anni ’20 o colorati come gli anni ’60 e nemmeno classici come gli anni ’40. Personalmente credo sia il giusto mix di maschile e femminile che rende questo stile unico.  Possiamo abbinare una camicia a fiori con dei pantaloni dal taglio maschile ed essere al contempo dure e dolci. Per quanto mi riguarda, io adoro gli occhialoni da “diva”, la pelle e le lunghe collane etniche.

FALL/WINTER 2015 MUST-HAVE

Hello Girls, after the posts on the pantone colors for this fall, I want to suggest the 3 must have items for this winter/fall 2015. The clothes I've chosen for this post are among the most fashionable, as magazines and stylists indicate.	Ciao ragazze, dopo il post dedicato ai colori dell'autunno 2015 secondo l'Istituto Pantone, ho pensato di indicarvi quali siano i 3 capi d'abbigliamento rigorosamente must-have per questo A/I 2015. I capi presi in considerazione da me in questo post sono tra quelli ritenuti più alla moda sulle riviste e sulle passerelle dei grandi stilisti.
French people call them CUISSARDES, English ones OVERKNEE. They are the tall, very tall boots and nowadays they are the most fashionable and daring tendency! People either love or hate them but this boots can appraise every kind of figure: they even slender a chubby or not so tall figure. You have only to carefully choose their style and your overall outfit. If you like the OVERKNEE model, the ones that cover your knee, don’t go for stretchy but soft and flared, preferably in our classical and beloved total black so you will also complete your outfit with a touch of character.	I francesi li chiamano CUISSARDES, gli inglesi OVERKNEE.  Sono gli stivali alti anzi altissimi, più fashion ed audaci del momento! C'è chi li ama e chi li odia eppure questi stivali possono valorizzare tutti i tipi di fisicità: slanciano la figura anche alle ragazze un pochino più formose e non molto alte. Basta scegliere con cura il modello e l'outfit. Se prediligete il modello di stivali OVERKNEE, ovvero sopra il ginocchio, sceglietelo non elasticizzato ma morbido e svasato, preferibilmente nel più classico e amato total black, così completerete il vostro outfit con un tocco di carattere.
The second one is the outerwear, the ultimate must have, glam, versatile and above all warm. Did you get it? The COAT. We can wear it whenever we like, it’s the item we cannot do without and if we match it with the right accessories, it will surprisingly change its appearance and will be perfect for every occasion. For this Fall/Winter 2015 the coats will be oversize, you will wear them maxi size and calf long and could also wrap you up in them when the cold will arrive. Since the cold season is already arrived, even though every year we pile up gorgeous coats in our closets, I think it’s the moment to make room for a “new friend”  to protect us from the incoming winter.	È il capospalla must have per eccellenza: glam, versatile ma sopratutto caldo. Avete capito di cosa sto parlando? Il CAPPOTTO, lo possiamo indossare in ogni momento della giornata, è il capo d'abbigliamento di cui non potremmo mai fare a meno e abbinato con gli accessori giusti cambia aspetto per ogni occasione! Per questo A/I 2015 i cappotti diventano over, ovvero di taglia maxi e lunghi fino a metà polpaccio, in cui avvolgersi all'arrivo del primo freddo. Visto che la stagione fredda è arrivata, ed anche se di anno in anno accumuliamo dei cappotti bellissimi nel nostro armadio, è arrivato il momento di trovare un "nuovo amico" che ci protegga dalle basse temperature.
And now the leather skirt, mini midi or maxi. It is a Fall/Winter 2015 must, matched with a plain t-shirt or a jeans blouse. A leather skirt can make us feel fascinating and sensual. They are also perfect  with sweaters or sweatshirts on winter. Low cost brands like Zara or H&M offer so many different models it’s unlikely not to find the right one for every one of you.	La gonna in pelle: mini, midi o maxi. È il must dell'A/I 2015, abbinata ad una t-shirt ma monocromatica oppure ad una camicia di jeans. La gonna in pelle ci può far sentire intriganti e sensuali, in inverno poi sono perfette per essere abbinate con maglioni e felpe. Anche i brand low cost come Zara e H&M ne hanno realizzate così tante che è improbabile che non si riesca a trovare il modello giusto per ognuna di voi.
Tall boots, wrapping up coats, leather skirts: does this remind you of something? What if I add flower patterns, high waste trousers, mini dresses, cheerful scarves, jeans blouse and big sunglasses? Not a hint yet? What about the loon pants and the thick wool sweaters? I hope my sweet girls you like the seventies because they are definitely back and so will I with my next post on the influence of that decade on the incoming season. Have a nice shopping time girls! Go wild!	Stivali, cappotti avvolgenti, gonne di pelle: vi ricorda qualcosa?
