THE PANTONE REPORT IS FINALLY OUT - HERE MY LOVE/HATE MIX AND MATCH PALETTE (pt. 2/2)

In my previous post I’ve already shown you the palette as described in the PANTONE report and now I’m going to share with you my personal view about this year colors. Just like the fall 2015 palette, this one is supposed to be unisex. I disagree but  so it says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the  Pantone Color Institute™.				Nel mio post precedente vi ho mostrato la palette così come descritta nel PANTONE report, adesso vorrei condividere con voi la mia opinione sui colori di quest’anno. Come la palette dell’autunno 2015 i colori dovrebbero essere unisex. Io non sono d’accordo ma questo è quello che ha detto Leatrice Eiseman, Direttrice del  Pantone Color Institute™.

The colors of the spring palette are brighter  than usual (they’ve been more pastel) and even though I like many of them, I don’t really agree with the suggested matches.					I colori della palette primaverile sono più accesi del solito (sono stati più pastello in precedenza) e nonostante me ne piacciano molti, non sono d’accordo su come propongono di abbinarli.

LOVE/HATE: neither Easy to love, easy to forget. This very feminine and romantic shade of pink is a lovely tone for a short dress or a statement accessorize but I doubt it would be a wise choice for a total look or a  home restyling. A touch here a there should do it, nothing more. I’d pair it with lilac grey but no one of the other suggested color. I’d also match it with dark blue shades, white, gold and silver.						LOVE/HATE: nessuna delle due Facile da amare e facile da dimenticare. Questo punto di rosa femminile e romantico è un colore delizioso per un vestito corto o un accessorio d’effetto ma dubito che possa essere una scelta giusta per un total look o rinnovare la casa. Ci si dovrebbe limitare a qualche tocco qui e li, niente di più.  Io lo accoppierei con il lillac grey e con nessun’altro dei colori indicati. Inoltre lo vedo bene con il blu scuro, il bianco, l’oro e l’argento.

LOVE/HATE: definitely love Warm and delicate, this color make you think you could smell it. I recommend it for brunettes, it really suits you. It is also a wonderful design hue, you can mix it with wooden furniture or contemporary items.						LOVE/HATE: senza ombra di dubbio amore Caldo e delicato, questo ti da l’idea che ne potresti avvertire l’odore. Lo consiglio per brune, vi si addice molto. È anche una meravigliosa sfumatura per arredare, si può abbinare sia a mobili in legno sia ad pezzi contemporanei.

LOVE/HATE: jury still out It’s a great color for coats and 40s style dresses. It is also a nice shade to paint your walls if you want to make you home elegant and modern at the same time. I may buy a soft coat (I’m googling right now for a light blue coat…) in this color and maybe a blouse to pair with white shorts/trousers - for a sunny day - but I don’t really like to mix it with pink-ish clothing like the pantone institute suggest.						LOVE/HATE:  la giuria è ancora riunita E' un colore meraviglioso per cappotti e abiti stile anni '40 . E' anche una bella tonalità per dipingere le pareti se si vuole rendere la casa elegante e moderna allo stesso tempo. Potrei comprare un cappotto morbido (sto cercando proprio adesso su google un cappotto azzurrino ...) di questo colore e magari una camicetta da abbinare a shorts bianchi / pantaloni - per una giornata di sole - ma non mi piace molto l’idea di mescolarlo con abiti di colore dalla tinta rosata come l'istituto pantone suggerisce.

LOVE/HATE: definitely love vidid and elegant, perfect with everything. you can match it with brigh color to soften its strong hue but it is perfect with pale rose or peach. If you don't want to look too navy don't mix it with white clothing. Yellow accessories for a final very fashion touch.						LOVE/HATE: senza dubbio amore acceso ed elegante, perfetto con tutto. Puoi abbinarlo a colori brillanti per attenuare la sua sfumatura accesa ma è perfetto anche con il rosa chiaro o il pesca.  Se non volete uno stile troppo marinarettonon abbinatelo con il bianco.  accessori gialli per un tocco finale davvero fashion.

LOVE/HATE: love Sunny and warm it is a good choice for a simple (plain color) dress, a big bag, a coat or a pair of loose trousers. It is also a nice pick to warm a cold modern house, it is perfect paired with black.						LOVE/HATE: love Solare e caldo è un'ottima scelta per un vestitino semplice (tinta unita), una borsa voluminosa, un cappotto o dei pantaloni morbidi.  è inoltre una buona scelta per rendere più accogliente una casa moderna, perfetto abbinato al nero.

LOVE/HATE: can't decide This is a very daring choice. You can try it with dark colors (navy blue, dark gray, black) or neutral pastel nuances to soften it. I'm not sure it suits every incarnate though. I wouldn’t use it to decorate your house unless you really are into the 60s.			LOVE/HATE: non so decidere è una scelta molto azzardata. potete provarlo con i colri scuri (navy blue, dark gray, black) o con tinte pastello per attenuarlo. Non sono certa che sia adatto a tutti gli incarnati a dirla tutta.  Non lo userei per decorare la casa a mano che non siate appassionate degli anni 60.

LOVE/HATE: MY PICK I know I don’t run the Pantone Color Institute but if I had, I would have chosen this one. Subtle and elegant perfect in every occasion. It doesn’t matter if it is a gown or a pajama, this color will make it perfect. I think is a color that suit better blondes but matched with the right accessories is lovely on everyone.					LOVE/HATE: LAMIA SCELTA Lo so che non dirigo l'istituto pantone ma se così fosse, ioavrei scelto questo colore. Sofisticato ed elegante è perfetto in ogni circostanza, non importa se parliamo di un abito da sera oppure di un pigiama, questo colore lo renderà perfetto. Credo che questo colore stia meglio alle bionde ma, abbinato con il giusto accessorio, è delizioso su chiunque.

LOVE/HATE: hate Red and summer? I don't think so. It may be the aftermath of the marsala being the color of the year 2015, still red to me is a fall (or even Xmas) color.				LOVE/HATE: hate Rosso d'estate? non credo proprio. potrebbe essere colpa uno strascico del fatto che il marsala è il colore del 2015, comunque sia per me il rosso rimane un colore (se non addirittura natalizio) autunnale.

LOVE/HATE: love is in the air It goes with everything .... even your cup of coffe. This color has it all: it is neutral, basic, soft and warm. I like to match it tone on tone but you can dare every color, pale or dark and it will be perfect still. You can paint your walls with it and both go for wooden furniture or modern items.				LOVE/HATE: love is in the air è perfetto praticamente con tutto....anche con la vostra tazza di caffè. Le ha tutte lui: è neutro, basic, delicato e caldo. Mi piace abbinarlo tono su tono ma potete osare con qualsiasi colore, chiaro o scuro e sarà comunque perfetto.  potreste persino pitturarci le pareti e scegliere il mobilio indifferentemente in legno o moderno.

LOVE/HATE: love It may seem too bright to wear but if you dose it, it will fashion your outfit up. Better on tanned skin.				LOVE/HATE: love potrebbe sembrare troppo acceso ma se lo dosate potrebbe dare un tocco fashion in più al vostro outfit. Meglio se su una pelle abbronzata.

Hello everyone, finally we have the PANTONE report for the spring 2016. It is supposed to be (again) a unisex palette.	Ciao a tutti , finalmente abbiamo il rapporto PANTONE per la primavera 2016. Si suppone che sia (di nuovo) una tavolozza unisex.

For Spring 2016 there are truly no perceivable distinctions in color choices between the men’s and women’s collections, both of which focus on a desire to breathe and reflect, then play.
