Some people say a coffee is not a real date. I think it is an easy way to get to know someone in an easy context.	Secondo alcuni un caffè non è un vero appuntamento. Io penso che sia un buon modo di conoscere qualcuno in un contesto informale.
Furthermore, if you are checking out this post, probably you agree with me that a coffee date is less than a date but there's definitely more than a simple coffee, especially on Valentine.	E poi, se state leggendo questo post, probabilmente siete d’accordo con me che un appuntamento per un caffè è un pochino meno di un appuntamento ma un pochino più di un semplice caffè, specialmente a San Valentino.

This may not be a first date, you could know this guy for a while now so first date rules don’t apply here, not all of them at the very least. Just one more thing before we start:  be punctual, ready and put a smile on. Being fashionably late is not fashionable at all, especially on a coffee date. Here my 5 rules for an informal valentine appointment, no matter what your personal style is.	Qui di seguito le mie 5 regole per un appuntamento di San Valentino informale, indipendentemente dal vostro stile.
1 – style your hair. Always.	1 – Acconciatevi  I capelli, sempre.
Always style your hair, not because of him but because of you. You should  show you care about the way you look on daily basis, like it or not first impression is not the only one counting. Yes to ponytails but only if carefully made. Another good solution is to make a simple hairstyle and add sparkling hairpins so your hair will be effortless but dainty. If you are used to always touch your hair, opt for a ponytail (straight or loose) or for braid, it will stop you from doing it.	Acconciatevi sempre i capelli, non per lui, per voi stesse. Dovreste mostrare di tenere a voi stesse quotidianamente, che vi piaccia o meno non è solo la prima impressione che conta. Si alle code ma solo se fatte con cura. Un’altra soluzione è acconciarli in maniera semplice ed aggiungere mollette brillanti in modo che i vostri capelli siano naturali ma raffinati. Se vi toccate spesso i capelli, optate per la coda (fitta o morbida) o per una treccia, vi impedirà di toccarli spesso.
2 – put on make-up.	2 – truccatevi
Same here. The make-up though should depend on your personal taste and your outfit but you should never exaggerate. If you are wearing a pair of jeans or cheerful clothing make it light. If you are wearing a dark dress or dark trousers than you can put on a more intense hue of eye shadow. A shade of lip-gloss and mascara are perfect even in the morning so of in doubt, you can never mistake. Add peach eye shadow if you are brunette, lilac or green if you have fair hair.	Come sopra. Il trucco comunque sia, dovrebbe tenere conto del vostro gusto personale e del vostro abbigliamento solo non dovreste esagerare. Se indossate dei jeans oppure abiti sgargianti che sia leggero. Se invece avete un abito o dei pantaloni scuri potete osare una sfumatura di ombretto più intensa. Un’ombra di lucidalabbra ed un pochino di mascara sono perfetti persino al mattino così se avete dei dubbi, non vi potete sbagliare. Ombretto pesca se siete brune, lilla o verde se avete i capelli chiari.
3 - layer up, be Weatherly independent.	3 – vestitevi a strato, siate climaticamente indipendenti
If you are going out during the late hours you will eventually get cold. So, if you don’t want to get a cold, you need to layer up. The trick is to layer up fashionably. Scarves help a lot. A simple t-shirt and a fancy jacket or instead a fancy t-shirt and a plain color  jacket could be a good choice. Choose a nice cardigan or a sweater to put in the middle but remember, plain colors call for lively sweaters while patterned t-shirts need neutral colors sweater or cardigans. So, I'd suggest a light top tank or a blouse, a cardigan or a sweater, a scarf and a nice coat plus jeans or leather pants, if you like trousers. If you prefer dresses you only have to choose the right cardigan and a nice coat (plus the scarf of course). Seasonal tips: funny sweaters with leather skirt (I have to admit I love this combination) squared hipster blouse preferably in red and high heels.	Se uscite sul tardi, potreste sentire freddo. Quindi, se non vi volete beccare un raffreddore, vestitevi a strato. Il trucco è vestirsi a strato con stile. Le sciarpe vi aiutano.  Una maglietta semplice e un giacchino sfizioso oppure una maglietta sfiziosa ed un giacchino semplice potrebbero essere una buona soluzione. Scegliete un bel cardigan oppure un maglioncino da mettere nel mezzo ma ricordate che i colori chiari vogliono maglioncini o cardigan vivaci mentre su magliette a disegni meglio un colore neutro. Quindi vi suggerirei un top morbido leggero oppure una camicetta, un cardigan o maglioncino, la sciarpa, un bel giacchino da abbinare a jeans o pantaloni di pelle, se vi piacciono i pantaloni. Se preferite i vestiti dovete solo abbinarci il cardigan giusto ed una bella giacca (più la sciarpa ovviamente) Dritta stagionale: un maglioncino divertente con una gonna di pelle (devo ammettere che amo questa combinazione) una camicia hipster a quadri magari rossi e tronchetti con i tacchi alti.

4 – shoes	4 – scarpe
They can be the way you them. It doesn’t matter if they are pink converse or black Manolo’s as far as they match the style of your outfit. I know I always tell you to be simple but, if you dress in a simple way, you can exaggerate when it comes to shoes or accessories. Wear funny or very cheerful shoes: they are lovely with a nice dress or a pair of jeans or a pair of trousers matching their shade. Seasonal tip: the brogues shoes are back, try them in a floral pattern. Have fun girls.	Vanno bene tutte. Non importa se sono delle converse rosa oppure delle manolo nere purchè siano abbinate al vostro abbigliamento. So che vi dico sempre di essere semplici ma, se vi vestite in modo semplice, potete esagerare con scarpe e accessori . Indossate scarpe sfiziose e divertenti: sono deliziose con un vestitino oppure un paio di jeans o anche dei pantaloni della stessa tinta. Dritta stagionale: le duilio sono tornate di moda, indossatele fiorate. Diveritevi ragazze!

5 – bags	5 – borse
Keep it easy. No clutches. I suggest a medium or a big bag depending on the coffee shop. If you walk there and you know it  is a crowded place a big bag will allow you to put inside the scarf or even the sweater. Small purses are usually evening accessories but if you don’t want it to be too bulky you can pick small but funny one, the style will settle the size issue.  Seasonal tip: big leather bag	Prendetela alla leggera. Niente clutch. Io vi suggerisco di indossare una borsa media o grandea seconda del bar. Se andate a piedi e già sapete che si tratta di un posto affollato, una borsa grande vi permetterà di metterci dentro la sciarpa e persino il maglione. Le borse piccole sono accessori da sera ma se non volete una borsa troppo ingombrante, prendete una piccola ma spiritosa, lo stile sopperirà alla questione della forma. Dritta stagionale: una borsa grande in pelle

BONUS: Spice up your look, make him understand you care about this date. My advice is to add a touch of leopard. By a touch a mean a touch and in doing so, avoid a total black outfit. Leopard would only make it more aggressive and we want our attire to be nice and with "verve". You may try a  plain t-shirt in a neutral color, a pair of straight jeans and leopard flats. You can also wear leopard accessorizes like hair pins. Hello kitty Leopard vans snickers are just the perfect item, funny although not aggressive.	BONUS: Date un pochino di pepe al vostro look, fategli capire che ci tenete a questo appuntamento. Il mio consiglio è di aggiungere un tocco di leopardato. E con un tocco intendo un tocco e nel farlo evitate che l’outfit sia completamente nero. Il leopardato lo renderebbe solo più aggressivo e noi vogliamo che la nostra mise sia graziosa ma con “verve”. Potete provare con una maglietta tinta unita di un colore neutro, un paio di jeans a sigaretta e delle ballerine leopardate. In alternativa potete provare con delle mollette leopardate.. Le Vans di HelloKitty sono perfette, sfiziose e non aggressive.
If you follow  this basic rules you are probably fashionably and comfortable dressed. Above all, you are going to a date with someone you care for, so there is only one thing you should do : shut the uncertainties behind your door and have fun, don’t worry, your problems will be there tomorrow.	Se seguite queste poche semplici regole probabilmente sarete fashion e vestite comode. Soprattutto, state andando ad un appuntamento con qualcuno a cui tenete quindi c’è solo un’ultima cosa che dovete fare: chiudete i vostri dubbi dietro la porta e divertitevi.
